Brisbane Convoy For Kids once again proved that nothing, not even severe weather, can stop the trucking community’s incredible generosity.
On Saturday, 1st November 2025, an impressive fleet of 778 trucks rumbled through the city’s streets. They braved the storms to raise vital funds for a cherished cause, turning a potentially washed-out day into an inspiring display of community spirit.
This annual event is a powerful tradition where the transport industry comes together. For a decade running, the convoy has selected the Hummingbird House Foundation as its sole beneficiary.
All proceeds support Queensland’s only children’s hospice. The funds provide crucial care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Rain or Shine, the Brisbane Convoy for Kids Rolls On
Despite threatening skies, the 2025 convoy was a resounding success. A massive 778 trucks participated in the picturesque route. They entered from Logan Motorway, travelling through Larapinta and across the Gateway Motorway.
The procession then went down the Deagon Deviation, across the iconic Hornibrook Bridge, and into its final destination at the Redcliffe Showgrounds.

The Lead Truck, Polytec’s billboard truck, set an incredible fundraising tone. Nevertheless, it alone raised a staggering $100,025 for Hummingbird House.
Organiser Dana Browne praised the drivers’ enthusiasm. So, she confirmed the convoy ran smoothly and feedback was overwhelmingly positive, even with the difficult conditions.
Quick Thinking Saves the Brisbane Convoy for Kids
The afternoon storms forced some quick changes to the schedule. The severe weather deterred some public attendance at the showgrounds.
However, all stallholders and sponsors remained committed. Furthermore, the planned live entertainment was moved indoors to the bar area, keeping the energy high.

Liam Maihi and Travis Sinclair delivered killer sets for the dedicated crowd. Moreover, organisers even managed to light up the stormy sky with a fireworks display behind the Trailer of Hope.
The highly anticipated truck show awards and a large part of the auction, however, had to be postponed for safety.
Announcing the 2025 Winners
The postponed awards ceremony and the remainder of the auction found a new home. They were held on Saturday, November 15th at Yatala Truck Wash.
True to the event’s spirit, organisers promised it would happen rain, hail, or shine, and it did. For those who couldn’t attend in person, a live stream was available via the Brisbane Convoy For Kids Facebook page.
