1. $177 Million in Road Upgrades for WA’s Mid West Gascoyne Region

Significant progress was made as $110 million has already been spent upgrading 1,050 km of roads in Western Australia’s Mid West Gascoyne. An additional $67 million is set to fund further projects aimed at reducing single vehicle run-off crashes, a leading cause of road fatalities. 4. Oxley Highway to Receive $11.5 Million Safety Upgrades

In a bid to improve road safety, the NSW government announced a $11.5 million upgrade to a 6 km stretch of the Oxley Highway. This project includes widening the pavement, rehabilitating nine culverts, and ensuring safer turning at intersections. 5. Construction of Fremantle’s New Traffic Bridge Begins
